Mt Hood quilts

Sometimes people go on vacation and relax by the pool, sight see, eat the best food, perhaps even read a book. Other people go on vacation and take their sewing machine on the airplane. Once they are at their vacation spot they sit at their sewing machine and sew for ten hours a day. These people usually only get up to go to the bathroom and get some food. Hmmm...I wonder what type of person mom was on her last trip to Mt Hood?

Congrats "Jedi"

This weekend Jeff and Heidi will be married. Yay!!! These two are so cute. I really don't think I have ever met a couple that was so in love and twitterpated with each other. I made this quilt as their wedding present, but I was so excited I couldn't wait to give it to them at the reception. So, instead I suprised them a couple of days ago and they were so lovely. This pattern is called "Storm at Sea", and this is my second time making this quilt. I do absolutely love this quilt with its 4,000 plus pieces. When I started this quilt I really didn't have anyone in mind to make it for, but by the time I was done, I knew it was going to live with Jeff. I love how it turned out with the blues and greens.
