layer cake quilt

M made this quilt with Moda layer cakes.

F.O.X. strip quilt

Strip quilts are so fun and easy to make!! This quilt is made with two Moda jelly rolls. Unroll the pack and sew! The F at the bottom really makes it personal. Penney made this quilt for my nephew Fox, and he loves it. If quilting seems scary, start with a jelly roll strip quilt.

Cabin quilt

I made this quilt years ago for my mom. It hangs in her room up at the cabin. This pattern was realy easy and fun.

Braided quilt

Another fabulous quilt a day from mom. Love, love love this quilt block. I really need to make this!

Mom's baby quilts

Mom is on this crazy quilt a day kick. Here are two of her cute baby quilts that she has done.
I love being able to help new clients!! Jennifer asked me to make a quilt for her daughter who is graduating from high school. She wanted to give her daughter something to take to college. The challenge with this quilt was to be able to mix in the fun fabrics that Jennifer picked, and make the quilt not look to young. I think we did a great job making a quilt that any freshman would like in her dorm room. The pattern is called Feelin' Groovy from Turning Twenty book. My absolute FAVORITE thing about this quilt is the embroidered block. I like being able to put such a personal touch on the quilt.

Panama Jack update

A couple of weeks ago I was able to do a quilting weekend with mom and M. So much fun. I worked on Panama Jack, and I was able to get the top all done! Yay!! Here is a little teaser; I can't wait for the finished product.
